. . . I thought I should get at least one photo of my little trick-or-treaters up here.
Chloe's pony costume was the hit of the neighborhood impressing even the pre-teen as grim reaper crowd. I apparently did not get a single photo of her in profile, though, so I'm going to get everybody dressed up again for a quick photoshoot in a few days.
I'm sure they won't mind.
Poor Emma-doodle's crown kept falling down which made her look a bit like a wind-blown "Tangled" as she insisted on calling herself. I'm just grateful I talked her out of walking around the neighborhood barefoot.
That comment probably won't make any sense unless you have seen the movie.
She also insisted I braid flowers into her hair. So I did.
And Logan carried his birthday theme right over to Halloween as scurvy Captain Logan. I'm pretty sure every house he trick-or-treated at demanded he say "Arrr!!"
The kids stamina was much higher this year. The past couple years we've had to call Gramma to come rescue us somewhere in the neighborhood, but this year we walked home with our baskets filled to the brim with sweet stuff.
Unfortunately, we didn't get but a handful of trick-or-treaters at our own house, so I have practically two entire bags of our candy to add to the pot.
I am currently trying to figure out how to incorporate the stuff into Christmas baked goods.
This morning was rough. I practically had to dump cold water on their heads to get them out of bed. I came ever so close to leaving them all in their beds and climbing back into my own, but figured that was probably a dangerous precedent to set.
Anyhow, Happy Belated Halloween!!! If anybody runs out of candy, please stop by...
